  1. I agree with review of Rendezvous. Very famous. Highly overrated. I live in MS right across state line from Memphis. Never heard of A & R or Cosy Corner or Paynes but def want to try!! Interstate BBQ..not good. Central BBQ good. Hard to find really good BBQ that has it all. Personally, I prefer brisket.

  2. When you coming to New Orleans? You could be here for weeks. We got it all. Cajun, seafood, steaks, Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Mexican and even some serious barbecue

  3. Rendezvous is an overrated tourist trap. Central’s ribs taste like garlic bologna. I can’t comment on Interstate’s ribs, because the sauce is so bad you can’t taste the meat. Spot on on Payne’s, but next time also get their smoked sausage with slaw. A&R is all about the rib tips, and finally, Cozy Corner has the best ribs and Cornish hens in the country. I can literally taste their ribs watching you eat them. Keep up the got work!

  4. You mean to tell me you came to Memphis and didn’t get Blues City Cafe Ribs on Beale Street. The line is always wrapped around the corner. You BIG trippin for leaving them off the list. Easily top 2

  5. It’s time for Chime to stop playing and come get right in H-Tiiine . BBQ, Viet crawfish, Tex Mex, Burgers, and everything in between. Content gonna go crazy. Just come before it gets to hot and crawfish season ends

  6. @Mr.ChimeTime you should’ve went to Bain BBQ. It’s located in the Cooper-Young area. It is the real #1 bbq spot

  7. I subscribed because of all the food reviewers, you and Barstool Pizza are the most honest reviewers. He does Pizza of course and you cover my other favorite foods. Keep up the great work Mr. Chime Time! Not to shock you, but I’m a 64 year old white dude from Dallas, and contrary to what the news and certain politicians try to sell, most of us get along just fine together and think alike🤠

  8. As someone from Memphis central bbq is my favorite but not as good as some homemade ribs with some time and love

  9. This guy gets it, though I’d put the sandwich at Payne’s on par with the ribs at Cozy!!
I can’t decide between the two.

  10. He ain’t lying about none of them but Interstate is definitely trash. The best BBQ in Memphis is in somebody’s backyard.

  11. Much love and respect to you brother. As a Memphian, I appreciate you rolling through and I respect your opinion. Peace and blessings to you.

  12. I would check out all these places and then when you really want to sit down and eat at a great Memphis barbq joint go to the original Corky’s on Poplar Ave. The half and half bbq spaghetti dinner is an old Memphis favorite and you won’t find a better one in Memphis. The ribs I’d try half wet and half dry and you decide. Enjoy!

  13. He makes you not want to check any of these places out besides the top 2 a contradiction, it’s thrash but check it out.

  14. Cozy Corner is straight up 🔥!!! Everything I’ve had there is amazing. It definitely looks horrible outside, and not exactly great inside. It looks dilapidated, but the food is absolutely incredible

  15. Ok that’s a good list but imo central isn’t very good and the bbq shop is one of I’f not the best spot in memphis

  16. Whatever you do please dont listen to him if you’re coming to Memphis lol. All of these places are good for select items only, Rendezvous dry ribs, Interstate smoked sausage, A&R hotdogs, Paynes shoulder sandwich etc The best bbq in Memphis are on the store lots all around the city

  17. I live in the Memphis metro area. If you’re a seasoned bbq connoisseur you can tell boiled ribs with sauce form real pit, smoke ring, and bark. All these places do it. ( par boil)
