It’s hard to envisage Tennessee’s second-largest city without thinking of the legendary music that was born here and the world-famous creators that lived and worked here. As such, it’s no surprise that one of the most popular attractions in #Memphis is the former home of Elvis Presley, Graceland.

A #vacation here caters to more than just the music-lovers. Enjoy the top nightlife on Beale Street and the delicious Southern barbeque city-wide. For an important and sobering history lesson, #visit the National Civil Rights Museum, another prominent #attraction to explore in Memphis.

For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

  1. It’s SO SAD. I love to visit Memphis but not any more. It gone out of control this year of 2024. They better start electing local politicians that will fix this mess they helped create!

  2. I loved Memphis.I also been to Nashville and I enjoyed it because of other travelers I met but Memphis was the real deal.Memphis doesn’t feel touristy or even safe on the street very late.I spend almost every night on Beale street to listen to some great Blues.
Other things interesting to see is the Gibson factory tour (if still there) ,the big cemetery (forgot the name)where lots of civil war generals are buried and it’s a beautiful place..but not in a good area so don’t walk outside of it.I stayed by Overton square and it’s a nice area too.midtown can be rough around Sun records.

  3. Going to Tennessee for a week (very excited) but cant make out if to spend the majority of days in Nashville or Memphis. Thoughts anyone?

  4. Best Doco of all that’s on offer but they forgot to say boiling in Summer and freezing in Winter… Forget about its ducks & BBQ you go there for the Music and its history… And oh yeah… stay on the beaten track it can be a dangerous place.

    RIP everyone everywhere.

I started visiting Mexico from 1962 to 2011, and I obeyed all your laws, and even lived there part time as a second home. I speak Spanish as a second language, and I generously helped non beggars in the 🇺🇸, Zimbabwe, and Acapulco. I speak Spanish as a second language, and loved helping everyone to learn English. Like all people, I interacted with the good, bad and ugly, but God was always there for me, to help others.

Always write down what you spend, and do not be greedy and stingy, and help non beggars on the quiet. Please keep written, audio, and video journals. everyday, and please dte, and the day of the week also.

I never cared what haters think, and they were removed from my life, and God took care of the rest. I ghosted them first.

  7. Memphis featured in Time magazine’s annual list of the "Worlds Greatest Places" (July-Aug, 2021)…Like I said before, Memphis is a beautiful city, a Mid-American jewel!

  8. Violence must stop. Show the genteelity and elegance that makes you above criminal 5 and dime back alley darkness lies

  9. I love so much Menphis and Tennessee. My ancestors lived in Memphis. Greetings light from my heart to all in Memphis and Tennessee

  10. I love Memphis I feel like this city gets so much hate it’s a great city just like Atlanta but I like Memphis more

  11. I DESPERATELY want to travel to USA. My friend married an American woman and lives in Indiana. I plan on visiting him and then going on a road trip….I’d love to meet proper people, not doing the tourist thing.

  12. Memphis TN makes me think of the musical play called Memphis but personally would like to see the Elvis Presley’s Memphis attraction best if I’m ever there but I personally prefer Nashville

  13. The most interesting place in Memphis is Beale Street because of the Rock n’ Roll Museum!
That kind of music jumped the racial divide of the sixties.
